** At Twin Temple, we no not use Yoga in its Religious context. Yoga can be or feel like a Spiritual Practice because of the themes of Appreciating its Rich History and Philosophy, Self-Study and Looking Within Ourselves, Universal Kindness and Oneness, and the Release or Deep Noticing of Emotions as we work through the Sessions.

If you have a religious background or affiliation, know that Yoga can be great at enhancing your current faith and current practices. If you have any questions about this, please ask as we want all students to feel comfortable.

New to Yoga or Being in a Studio Space?

If you’re nervous about your first class, let us put your mind at ease:

We are beginner friendly, no prior experience is necessary! We use visual and vocal cues to gently guide you through the movements to help teach you how to do the poses and aid you in making it comfortable in YOUR unique “Soma” or Body. Movements you learn here can be added into your repertoire for use in other yoga classes or home practices!

  • Wear What You Have: Pajamas, sweats, old T-shirts. No fancy "yoga brands" required.

  • All Bodies are Yoga Bodies: You don't need to be flexible or "fit." We move for how it feels, not how it looks.

  • What to Bring: Just yourself and some water. If you don't have a mat, we have them here for you to use for free.
